Marianne Gast, an MBA graduate, completed her Bachelor of Music in piano performance at the University of Toronto under the guidance of Patricia Parr (aka pianist in Amici Ensemble). She was a scholarship winner at the Banff School for Advanced Musical Studies and participated in masterclasses with Leon Fleischer, Anton Kuerti, Gyorgy Sebok and Greta Kraus, has performed both as a solo artist and as a chamber musician in Hungary, Austria and France. She toured North America as a keyboard player of the Subway Elvis rock band. Marianne is the founder of the Bartok Conservatory of Music in Toronto, an active member of other chamber groups and is also the organist and choir director of St. John's Anglican Church in Weston. Her other interests include downhill skiing, figure skating, photography and literature.
